MMOM believes that the message with which we have been entrusted is a message of hope to the masses around the world. With over 6 billion people on the earth and the population growing daily, there is a never-ending responsibility for the child of God to spread the glorious Gospel. MMOM's purpose and goal is to communicate this message that has been entrusted to us, to the dark cultures of this world. Two-thirds of the world's population live in nations in the Far East and Southeast Asia. Many of these nations are stooped in false religions like Islam, Buddhism, Confuscism, Animism, Roman Catholicism, and other Far East religions. They need a witness of the Word of Truth--that is why MMOM exists.

-- MEDIA --

The media is a powerful voice in our day. It is the greatest means of communicating the gospel. The word media goes beyond radio or newspapers. It includes any way of communicating the message to the people that need to hear. This is why MMOM has the purpose of reaching the unreached through printed materials, radio programs, home Bible study courses, setting up Bible Institutes and Colleges, through the missionaries and through national workers, mailing tracts, New Testament/Bible distribution, national training camps, placing gospel articles in local newspapers and leading magazines on foreign fields, as made possible. All those opportunities lead to one combined goal, that is to see souls saved and local indigenous Baptist churches established.

MMOM is working in different languages and cultures, but desires to increase this as God provides workers of other languages. We recognize it is an impossible task for us alone, but it is not impossible for the people of God working together. We covet your prayers and financial help for this ministry as the Lord speaks to you heart. God's people need to utilize the means of the media for communicating Jesus to the world. The Lord Himself "thought and talked global".

MMOM does not only prepare most of these materials, but they print, and take care of the postage. Most of the people receiving the materials are poor and living in third world countries, having no funds to help. We rely on God's people to help with supplying these needs. -- OUTREACH --

At the present time Mass Media Outreach Ministries is reaching into countries that are closed to the traditional missionary. Some of the countries we are working in are not only closed to the missionary, but even to gospel literature. In these situations the Lord has opened doors for us to send gospel literature to individuals, through government workers, and even through some businesses.

Listed are some of the nations MMOM has had the privilege of working in. Some of these nations receive the materials monthly and some of the others as we can feel it is okay. We did not want to endanger anyone in a country, as some materials are sent as requested.

Not only do we send literature, but a representative of MMOM visits the different fields as the Lord provides. At the end of a Bible Course or series of lessons the students receive a beautiful "MASS MEDIA OUTREACH MINISTRIES BIBLE COURSE CERTIFICATE."

-- MINISTRIES --

MMOM is a ministry giving out the Word of God. It is governed by an advisory committee made up of pastors, laymen, and missionaries. It is an opportunity to reach souls where the missionary cannot always go. The goal of this ministry as stated before is to see souls saved, and local Baptist churches planted. Once we have a person or a group asking about the studies, MMOM tries to locate a missionary or Christian worker near them, we start making preparations to go as the finances are available to help with the establishment of this group. We have been able to share with a few missionaries great opportunities that have developed into open doors for preaching and teaching God's Word. Some of the past students are now members of churches, some are spiritual leaders, and others are serving as pastors. What a blessing!

MASS MEDIA OUTREACH MINISTRIES HAS BEEN BLESSED BY THE LORD TO BE WORKING WITH AROUND 300 NATIONAL PASTORS HUNDREDS OF CHRISTIAN LEADERS, FOUR BIBLE COLLEGES/INSTITUTES, AND MANY CHURCH GROUPS SINCE ITS BEGINNING. NINETY-FIVE PERCENT OF THESE PEOPLE LIVE WHERE THERE IS NO CHRISTIAN BOOKSTORES OR HELP MINISTRIES AVAILABLE.
